These are small software programs that are really, really inexpensive, and that do just one thing. So you don't pay for a whole lot of functionality that you will never ever use.
These little applications are simple and easy to use.
If you need other functions or need to do other tasks, these Mini Apps are, at $1 each, cheap enough to buy as many as you need to get the things done that you want to do.
Even kids, lower income families and people from the third world can now at least afford some working and useful software. If they can afford any kind of computer, then they can afford Mini Apps!
Do I Have Enough Savings To Retire?
This App (or program) can help you to check whether you have enough savings to retire at a certain age, and also shows you year by year (or even month by month if you like detail) how your investments will perform. You can change variables like age of retirement, interest and inflation rates, and pension / drawings amounts to get an idea how these things affect your investment, enabling you to make informed, wise decisions about your spending and lifestyle, and preventing you from running out of money in your old age.
Interest Earned Over a Time Period
This App enables you to work out how much interest you can earn over a time period, and it shows you totals for interest compounded monthly, or yearly, or not compounded (ie interest is not reinvested). It also takes tax effects into account, and it will show you when you draw your money in 10 or 20 years time, what it will be worth in today's money, after inflation has taken it's toll.
This App should prevent you making bad investments that actually lose you money, instead making wise choices that will make you better off in the end.
Keeping a Record of your Running (or Cycling)
This App keeps a record of all your running, working out minutes per km, average speed and metres per second, and allows you to record temperature, weather conditions and other comments. Keeps a tally of total km run, as well as a record of your fastest and slowest minutes per km.
Can also be used to record bicycle rides.
